This initiative aimed to expand the reach of wrestling among younger generations and uncover promising talents that will shape the future of the sport in the UAE.
The tournament witnessed intense competition as clubs and academies from across the country participated, showcasing high skill levels and strong sportsmanship. These youth categories serve as the foundation for building a generation of elite athletes capable of achieving milestones in international wrestling.
Beyond its competitive aspect, the tournament reinforces wrestling’s role in Emirati society by inspiring young athletes to embrace sportsmanship, discipline, and teamwork.
As the season progresses, the UAE Wrestling Federation is set to host a series of local and international tournaments, further raising the level of competition and aligning the sport with world-class standards. These efforts reflect the UAE’s commitment to establishing itself as a global sports hub and nurturing excellence in wrestling.
